EQUAD develops detailed interactive financial models for clients using Microsoft® Excel or other spreadsheet programs.

Uses of models include project appraisal, fiscal regime (including PSA / PSC) analysis, investment and acquisition analysis, risk analysis / management, decision support, option selection, budgeting, tariff pricing mechanisms, corporate planning, project finance and day to day business planning. Models can be enhanced to include integrated cashflow, fiscal / tax calculations, profit & loss (income) statements and balance sheets.

EQUAD models are developed using proven methods and logic that guard against error. Models are transparent and auditable. Password and other security measures can be added as required. Macros using VBA code can also be included to automate and promote the circulation of models within organisations.

User friendly drop-down menus can be incorporated to permit the assembly of extensive scenario and what-if analyses. Clearly laid out numerical output and the use of graphs facilitate users to understand the dynamics of the modelled situation, and optimise inputs and decisions as appropriate.

EQUAD also conducts audits of third party developed models using its own PetroScreen® software or bespoke in-house developed models as required.
